QTOM Partner Guidance 22 23 p1

Welcome to QTOM: the QTEdu Open Master

For the year 2022-2023 QTOM intends to offer shared courses (A), events (B), and projects/internships (C). Below is information about the next steps to be involved in the project, which is OPEN for all who wish to participate in any form. Additional detail is in this pdf

A: Shared courses: If you can offer into the pan-European ecosystem, please consider doing so! These courses (they can be asynchronous or synchronous) are now available not only to the QTOM network, but also the wide Ukrainian community to support their students in the current crisis. So offering a lecture course which is already taught in hybrid or online can be simple to do but have a significant impact. Please submit Course offers by 19/08 using this sheet as an example. Feel free to contact us if there are any questions about adding content. Guidance, including use of the competence framework, is attached.

The list of available courses will be updated on the website on 22/08. At that time if you wish to offer courses from the community to your students, you can check through the website and find courses available which fit your scheduling and examination requirements. If you would like any help with this, including with accreditation, feel free to get in contact.

B: Joint QT Events: We host events which are flexibly available for staff across the community to make use of at any time, to be incorporated into future seminar series (e.g QTOM Fridays), or which are organised one off (e.g the ICFO symposia). If you have events we can make available, please add them again by 19/08 and then check the website to find events you can provide for your local students. Event examples are here

C: QT Projects and Internships: These are intended to be online and do not have to offer any funding (of course, fantastic if they do!) They are a chance to attract top international talent e.g future PhD students, and some of the projects in the last year have had brilliant outcomes as we saw at the Symposium in July. Please add projects by 19/08 to the slide deck:

QTOM available remote internships - Google Slides which will then be hosted on the website for students to peruse. Note that students may contact you directly to apply for projects.

D: Co-developed resources: If you would like to make use of this network for collaborating on resource development, feel free to be in touch if you would like anything to be circulated. There is already interest in
